• Educated to masters level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level
• Extensive Knowledge of the commissioning cycle, business cycle, operating framework and NHS infrastructure and governance

• Extensive experience of working with GP commissioners, clinicians and primary care teams
• Extensive experience of interpreting complex information, distilling key messages and themes and presenting a position and options to senior audiences
• Experience of working with senior and/or executive level stakeholders to form and enact cross organisational strategic plans
• Extensive experience of managing contractual and performance arrangements of large provider contracts
• Extensive experience of healthcare commissioning at a senior level (or experience of working within a sector of comparable complexity).
• Commercial skills, including experience in developing strategic supplier relationships, market testing, tendering and joint improvement.
• Experience of managing teams of staff, and working across team boundaries
