Care Assistant

We are currently recruiting a care assistant for a short term contract with the possibility of a contract extension. Candidates will be working with children and young people aged five to eighteen with profound and multiple learning difficulties, complex health needs, physical disabilities and autistic spectrum disorders. Duties include supporting young people to achieve maximum mobility and independence and provide opportunities to make friendships through social and community events and providing opportunities for them to enjoy new experiences.

Candidates must be the holder of a Valid DBS. A level 2 qualification in childcare/social care is ideal but not essential.
